A3P: Anticipation, Planification et Pilotage des Prélèvements agricoles

PSH role:

Involved in the process tomato and peach crops, the PSH unit is responsible, as part of this project, for better characterising the water requirements of crops and the effect of water deficit on functioning, growth and harvest quality. The project is based on experiments (EU A2M support for orchards and SONITO support for industrial tomatoes), with monitoring of leaf area development by proxi and remote sensing (collab. UMR EMMAH, Avignon) in relation to growth and the development of fruit quality and for different irrigation strategies. At the same time, modelling will be used both to integrate knowledge of the impact of water shortages and to simulate different irrigation practices, from plot level to regional level (STICS model for process tomatoes and qualiTree for tree crop).
